The MAC071C-6-GS-4-C/095-A-2/WA612XX AC servo Motor is manufactured by the Bosch Rexroth Group as part of their MAC series rapid-response drives. AC servo motors are high-precision permanent magnet-excited motors suited for use in handling equipment, machine tools, printing presses, and more. This unit is a size 071 with a length of C. It comes with radial surface cooling with the blower located to the right of the motor shaft. The motor is also protected from overload damage by inbuilt thermos switches that monitor the temperature of the unit. The housing of the motor prevents leakage of liquids and other contaminants into the motor to meet IP 65 requirements.
This motor has a Nominal rpm rating of 6000 min -1 with standard tacho type feedback. It?s equipped with tachofeedback and mounted encoder for speed evaluation per tacho-generator and rotor position recognition. Motors with tachofeedback can be used in all machines which there is a direct position evaluation via a linear scale or in applications where there are uniform rotations. The tacho voltage of the motor is set to the nominal motor speed.
The motor comes with centering diameter of 095. Output shafts with keyways are more suitable for form-fitting torque transmission while plain shafts are recommended for non-positive transmission of torque. Power, tachofeedback and encoder cables can be directly connected to the motor via the connectors on Side A of the unit. This motor also comes equipped with a heavy-duty holding brake with a 6.5 Nm holding torque. The holding brake facilitates clamping of the output shaft safely at standstill.
