Product Description:
The MAC071C-1-US-3-C/095-B-2 is a Bosch Rexroth AC servo motor in the MAC series. AC servo motors find application in dynamic systems where fast movements are required due to their heir speed accuracy and low inertia. The MAC071C-1-US-3-C/095-B-2 is a size 71 motor of C length. It comes with natural convection cooling for extreme loads such as repetitive continuous start-stop operations. The motor housing is completely enclosed per protection category IP 65 to ensure that it can be used even in environments where there is risk of oil, coolants and other types of contaminants.
This unit has a Nominal rpm of 2000 min -1 and standard tacho type feedback for standard applications. The tacho voltage is set to the nominal motor speed. The motor is equipped with tachofeedback and second shaft end on side B of the motor. The second shaft end allows for components like encoders to be mounted to the motor to suit the user?s requirements. The shaft end is protected from leakages per IP 65 requirements so components do not have to be completely sealed to be mounted to the unit.
The cables for the power, tachofeedback and encoder can be directly connected to the connectors on Side B of the motor. The motor has a standard centering diameter of 095 but the user can decide the type of output shaft on the motor. It is recommended to have plain output shafts since they offer non-positive transmission of torque. This unit also comes with a with heavy-duty holding brake with a 6.5 Nm holding torque that can be controlled with either a PLC or a hardware switch. The holding brake allows for backlash-free holding of the servo axes when the machine is off.
