The MAC071C-0-US-4-F/095-B-0/WI531LX/S001 is an AC servo motor manufactured by the Bosch Rexroth Group. It is a rapid response motor designed for use with Rexroth drive controllers in high precision applications such as machine tools, printing presses, robotics, and more. This size 71 motor features a Motor Length of C and natural convection type cooling. The brushless design of the motor and life-time lubricated bearings ensure maintenance-free operation for optimal operational reliability.
The MAC071C-0-US-4-F/095-B-0/WI531LX/S001 features increased smooth run quality Tacho feedback. The tacho voltage is set to nominal motor speed. The motor has integrated tachofeedback for speed evaluation and is also equipped with a mounted incremental encoder for position evaluation. The incremental encoder has standard mounting and is ideal for use with machines with lower shock loads. This motor has a high overload capacity with the outside wall of the motor housing facilitating heat dissipation from the stator windings. The unit also has high output data and smooth-running qualities due to special design of the stator and the high-resolution tachofeedback.
The motor has a pilot diameter of 95mm and features cable connectors on Side B of the unit to allow for power, tachofeedback and encoder cables to be connected directly to the motor. The output shaft can be supplied either as a plain output shaft or an output shaft with keyway depending on the users requirements. Plain output shafts offer friction-locked connections and are more recommended while output shafts with keyways are suited for lesser demands since they can be prone to fractures. The output shaft comes with shaft sealing to ensure that liquids do not leak into the housing of the motor. This motor has no holding brake.
