For applications requiring the rotor to reliably stay in place for prolonged periods during operation, a motor with a heavy-duty blocking brake is ideal. Rexroth Bosch Indramat provides several options under its famous MAC AC servo motor series. Overall, the MAC AC motors by Rexroth come with six possible motor frames, each having their own set of dimensions and characteristics. Larger motor frames are more applicable for high-torque applications, while smaller motor frames are best for high-speed applications. The MAC071C-0-GS-4-C/095-B-2/WA608XX is a servo motor under the MAC071 motor family that comes with a heavy-duty blocking brake.
