MAC AC servo motors have been proven to be rapid-response servo motors when used together with DSC, TDM, and KDS drive controllers. These motors can be used in robotics, textile machines, transfer facilities, packaging machinery, handling equipment, and printing presses among others. The rotors of the MAC AC servo motors are made up of materials that lower their inertia. The motor feedback of each of these servo motors is made up of tacho feedback. The tacho feedback is intended to help in recognizing the rotor position and evaluating motor speed. To enhance position evaluation, these motors are also equipped with encoders.
The MAC AC servo motors are supplied to the customers with or without holding brakes. The holding brakes are useful when it comes to clamping the motors’ output shafts at standstill. Additionally, the holding brakes can help in achieving a safe standstill of the axis regardless of whether the power is on or off.
