MAC071B-0-PS-4-C/095-B-0/WI569LX is a reliable and durable AC servo motor built for possible uses in the textile, printing, machine tools, handling, and packaging industries. These MAC series motors are known for their versatility and ease of use. They can be mounted in whichever orientation you prefer on the machine, and the installation process is quite simple. The motor is manufactured with the best materials, which allow it to function under challenging environmental conditions. To protect the motor from damage due to overheating and overloading, thermo switches are installed in the motor windings to monitor the temperature.
The motor’s total mass including the tachogenerator and excluding the holding brake and blower is measured to be 8.8 kg. The nominal motor speed for this motor is 4000 min-1, while its continuous torque at standstill is 4.4 Nm. The rotor moment of inertia for this AC servo motor is calculated to be 9.9x10-4 kgm2, and the continuous current at standstill is 9.6A. According to the manual, the windings inductance of the motor is 5.9 mH, while its windings resistance at 20oC is an impressive 0.72 Ohm. The thermal time constant of this excellent motor is 45 min, and the maximum peak of pulse current is 48A.
The motor is supplied with a standard tacho type as denoted by the letter ‘C’ in the part name. The power connection for the motor is provider through a connector to its B side. The mounted encoder for this component is an incremental encoder with a standard mounting. It does not come with a blocking brake nor does it come supplied with a blower for cooling. The motor uses natural convection method of cooling.
