The MAC071B-0-PS-4-C-095-A-0-WI520LV-S001 is a servo motor from the MAC series from Rexroth Indramat. The motor is maintenance-free because it is made with lifetime lubricated bearings and uses a brushless design. The unit can be placed within the direct working area of the machine even if the conditions are considered poor.
Because the motor housing is fully enclosed and built according to IP 65 specifications the motor can work in conditions such as soluble oil emulsions or coolants. This is integrated into the motor for convenience and safety. There is the option to equip the motor with an additional mounted encoder if you would like to have something for position evaluation.
The MAC071B-0-PS-4-C-095-A-0-WI520LV-S001 from Rexroth Indramat can be used with an absolute encoder and an incremental encoder thanks to the second shaft that allows for mounting of a customer’s encoder. The servo motor further features electronic commutation as it is a permanent magnet-excited motor.
