The MAC071A-0-OS-4-C/095-B-1/WA611XX, a versatile AC servo motor manufactured by Indramat, is a fast-responding servo motor that seamlessly integrates with TDS, DSC, and KDS drive controllers. Operating through permanent magnet-excited motors, it allows for the construction of motors with minimal inertia. Its robust design makes it suitable for a broad range of applications, including handling equipment, textile machines, packaging machinery, printing presses, robotics, and other machine tools. Its reputation for reliability is well-earned, thanks to its brushless design and lifetime lubricated bearings.
The motor length is marked A, and natural convection is used as its cooling method. The winding type is OS, which means it has a nominal rpm of 3000 min-1. The motor is with tachofeedback and possesses an absolute or mounted incremental encoder. The motor feedback is always composed of one tachofeedback that is integrated with the motor. The motor is fitted with a standard tacho, and the power connection requires a connection to the B side. The motor is supplied with flanged sockets that allow direct connection to the encoder cables, tachofeedback, and power through connector cables.
The component has a standard blocking brake at 3Nm as well. The holding brakes also play a role in holding the output shaft safely in place when the motor is not in use.
