The MAC071A is a rapid-speed AC servo motor specially designed for high-end applications. The motor comes in a brushless design and incorporates a lifetime-lubricated bearing, which ensures seamless operation. The MAC071A-0-HS-4-C/095-B-1/WA610XX is a naturally cooled AC motor precisely operated with an encoder. The MAC071A AC servo motor is rated for extended operations, running at 2000 revolutions per minute. This model features 3 Nm standard blocking brakes that function to stop the motor in emergency situations.
The Indramat servo motor is engineered to have a tacho-generator which counts the rotation of the shaft, co-working with an incremental or absolute encoder which precisely monitors the position of the shaft. The category 'F' insulation allows this motor to withstand 115 oC rise in temperature while operating at a maximum ambient temperature of 40 degree Celsius. If installed in a congested space, a separate cooling fan may be installed to enable forced convection. The MAC071A AC servo motor allows connection to the power supply from side-B. For this purpose, all the sides are labelled.
The motor has a nameplate attached to the housing with essential details for easy identification. A prime black coat with RAL 9005 is applied to enhance environmental protection and complete isolation of the metal. At the time of installation, consider the 95mm centering diameter of the motor. This model has a DIN standard flange with four through holes that can be used to mount the motor in the desired orientation. Only approved cable types may be used to power the motor. The housing is rated for IP65 degree protection, which allows it to be installed in applications at a height of 1000 MSL.
