Built for analog drives, it converts amplifier current into controlled rotary motion for positioning duties on packaging, printing, or handling machines. This version uses the compact A housing length to save installation space while still accommodating integrated tacho and encoder feedback elements. The standard tacho generator provides a predictable velocity signal, and the integrated feedback supports closed-loop operation with compatible drives during speed control and positioning tasks.

Its mounting boss provides a centering diameter of 95 mm, giving a precise pilot fit that keeps the stator concentric with the driven load. Heat is removed by natural convection, eliminating fans and allowing installation in sealed enclosures. Frame designation 071 indicates a medium stator diameter within the series, while a nominal speed of 4000 rpm provides adequate surface velocity for belt-driven or direct-drive axes. The motor has no blocking brake, which lowers inertia but requires external holding if the axis must remain fixed when power is removed. Position sensing is provided by an incremental encoder with standard mounting, allowing the drive to process pulse signals for commutation and closed-loop control without additional adapters.

The electromagnetic circuit uses winding code ES, which corresponds to resistance and torque constants matched to analog current-controlled amplifiers of the same generation.
