The MAC063D-6-JS-4-C/095-A-0/WA612XX synchronous servo motor is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat to function as a rapid response servo drive in industrial automation systems. This motor is designed to be used in conjunction with the TDM, KDS, and DSC drive controller series. Although this sophisticated motor is relevant in various industries, it is especially suited for use in packaging machinery, robotic machines, handling equipment and transfer facilities. The motor is a permanent-magnet excited motor with electronic commutation, during operation it maintains a very low inertial and an operation efficiency that can be as high as 95 percent.
The MAC063D-6-JS-4-C/095-A-0/WA612XX servo motor is not integrated with a holding brake, however it contains an impressive feedback system that is made-up of a tacho feedback and a mounted encoder. The motor also contains a radial air blower that protects it from overtemperature damage by dissipating excess heat from the motor housing via natural convection. The tacho feedback integrated into the motor is of the standard type. When the motor is at a standstill, it operates with a continuous input current of about 5.1 amperes, it also generates a continuous torque of 2.7 newton meters. The nominal motor speed of this impressive servo motor is about 3500 revolutions per minute.
