MAC063D-1-JS-4-C/095-B-0/WI520LV is a state-of-the-art MAC series motor from Bosch Rexroth. It is designed with an IP65 rated housing that provides robust protection from environmental contaminants. The first digit of the rating indicates the level of solid ingress protection and the second digit indicates the level of liquid ingress protection. The motor has a plain shaft without a seal. However a seal for the shaft is available as an option and can be ordered if required. Operators can also order shafts with keyways that comply with the German DIN 6885-1 standard. MAC motors support multiple cooling options. Operators can select the cooling option that satisfies applications requirements. The MAC063D-1-JS-4-C/095-B-0/WI520LV motors is equipped with an axial cooling fan and supports surface cooling. MAC motors with the convection cooling option or the surface cooling option with a radial cooling fan can also be ordered.
The cooling fan mounted onto the MAC063D-1-JS-4-C/095-B-0/WI520LV motor requires 230 Volts AC power supply. Speed rating of the AC servo motor is 3500 RPM. Its continuous output torque at standstill is 3.5 Nm and the continuous output current at standstill is 6.6 Amps. The thermal time constant depends on cooling method and is 15 minutes for the surface cooled motor. Bosch provides optional holding brakes for MAC motors. However the MAC063D-1-JS-4-C/095-B-0/WI520LV motor is without a holding brake. Feedback motor supported by the motor is tacho feedback which is capable of measuring both the motor speed and position. Operators can also install an absolute or incremental encoder for position evaluation. The motor is delivered with a rating plate attached to the motor housing. If a second rating plate is ordered, it is placed over the original one with double-sided tape.
