MAC063D-0-JS-4-C/095-B-1/WA610XX is a MAC series motor from Bosch Rexroth. It is highly optimized for high performance industrial applications. The servo motor, when combined with servo controllers, serves the needs of different operators and applications such as robotics, printing presses, and textile machines. Some MAC motor features are fixed and some are optional. Fixed MAC motor features include tacho feedback for speed and position evaluation, and IP65 rated motor housing. Optional features include support for multiple cooling methods, a blocking brake, shaft key and seal, and an absolute or incremental encoder. The MAC063D-0-JS-4-C/095-B-1/WA610XX motor supports convection cooling. However, operators can order MAC motors with axial or radial cooling fans. The MAC063D-0-JS-4-C/095-B-1/WA610XX motor has blocking brake rated for 3 Nm holding torque. This brake is a safety device. It operates at 24 Volts DC and prevents accidental or unintentional motor shaft rotation.
The MAC063D-0-JS-4-C/095-B-1/WA610XX motor is equipped with a standard smooth shaft. Its centering diameter is 95 millimeters. The speed rating of the AC servo motor is 3500 RPM. MAC065 motors with 6000 RPM nominal speed rating are also available. A power plug on side B of the housing allows interfacing with a power cable. The motor sends feedback to the controller via separate cable. Connectors for both of these cables must be ordered as separate items. The MAC063D-0-JS-4-C/095-B-1/WA610XX is a flange-mounted motor. Holes on the flange enable secure mounting with a flat mounting surface. To protect signal integrity, all cables must be routed separately from the power cable. Bosch recommends minimum 100 millimeter separation between encoder cables and motor cables. The shield of the encoder cable should be applied to the NC in the encoder connector.
