Bosch Rexroth is the designer of the powerful MAC AC servo motors that form rapid-response drives with the TDM, KDS and DSC drive controllers. These permanent magnet-excited motors have low inertia and a high power-to-weight ratio. They are used for applications such as handling equipment, transfer facilities, robotics, and packaging machinery.
The MAC063A-0-RS-4-C/095-B-1/WA604XX is a Bosch Rexroth AC servo motor in the MAC series with a nominal speed of 6,000 revolutions per minute. It has a high cyclic load capacity due to electronic commutation. This makes it suitable for continuous start-stop operations with high repetition rates. Its designated cooling method is natural convection, where heat is transferred to the ambient air along a temperature gradient. The motor also has a high overload capacity as heat is efficiently dissipated from the stator windings to the outside wall of its housing. There are thermo switches in its windings and stator housing to prevent irreversible damage caused by overheating. Its brushless design and lifetime-lubricated bearings allow it to be operated maintenance-free.
