Bosch Rexroth’s drive and motion control units are proof of its commitment to high-quality work. It is the designer of the MAC AC servo motors that combine with the TDM, KDS and DSC drive controllers to form rapid-response drives. The motors are used in textile machines and machine tools.
The MAC063A-0-RS-4-C/095-B-0/WI534LX/S001 is one of the permanent magnet-excited motors of the MAC series by Bosch Rexroth. It displays excellent smooth running qualities thanks to the special design of its stator and high-resolution tachofeedback. This stator has integrated thermo switches to monitor the motor’s temperature and prevent irreversible damage due to thermal overload. The tachofeedback aids speed evaluation per tacho-generator and rotor position recognition, but it also has a mounted encoder for position detection and evaluation. This mounted encoder is incremental and is installed per standard mounting. Heat is efficiently transferred from the motor’s stator windings to the outside wall of its housing, giving it a high overload capacity. Overall, it is cooled by natural convection.
Pinions and belt pulleys can be directly mounted onto the shaft of the MAC063A-0-RS-4-C/095-B-0/WI534LX/S001 as the design of the bearing assembly enables the application of high radial loads. The motor can be mounted in any orientation and has a flange design with throughholes, permitting mounting per design IM B5. It supports the use of ready-made cables, thereby eliminating additional installation work. These cables have an Ingress Protection rating of IP 65 in line with DIN 40 050.
