MAC041B-0-BS-4-E/050-A-1/WI670LV is a 6000 RPM servo motor from Bosch Rexroth’s MAC product line. MAC motors are permanent magnet-excited motors with electronic commutation. High-quality permanent magnets used for the motor rotor enable very low inertia operation. MAC motors are equipped with tacho feedback for speed evaluation and position recognition. This technology is developed especially for this motor series. In addition, the MAC041B-0-BS-4-E/050-A-1/WI670LV is equipped with an optional encoder for rotor position evaluation. This motor supports convection cooling and requires 0 to 45 degrees Celsius ambient temperature for rated torque and speed output. Operation outside this temperature range leads to output derating. The motor output will also derate if the site elevation is more than 1000 meters. Centering diameter of this motor is 50 millimeters. An optional electrically-actuated blocking brake is also installed on the motor.
This brake operates at 24 Volts DC nominal input. Its purpose is to prevent accidental or unintentional shaft rotation. Nominal and peak torque output of the motor are 1.35 Nm and 5.2 Nm respectively. The peak torque is only available for 300 milliseconds. The motor takes 19 milliseconds to accelerate from zero to maximum RPM, and 15 milliseconds to decelerate from maximum to zero RPM. Housing of the MAC041B-0-BS-4-E/050-A- 1/WI670LV motor complies with IP65 requirements. This means the motor is dustproof and safe from low-pressure water jets. The feedback and power connection are also IP65 rated. With this excellent ingress protection, the motor is suitable for a wide range of demanding and challenging industrial applications requiring machine use in adverse conditions.
