Product Description

Bosch Rexroth manufactures the KMS02.1B-A018-P-D7-ET-ENH-SD-WT-FW servo motor with IP65 degree of protection as per IEC 60529. The KMS servo motor should be operated in an ambient temperature range from °C 0...40. The servo motor is supplied by 42V connected to a power supply unit or a control-power transformer with protection according to IEC 60204-1. A voltage greater than 33 V has to be discharged by the appropriate electrical equipment of the machine. This includes 24V power supply units that reduce the overvoltage to the allowed value. The servo motor should be stored in temperatures ranging from °C -20 … +70 with a relative humidity of % 5 … 95. The optional key as per DIN 6885 allows for the keyed transmission of torques with continuous direction, with low loads on the servo motor shaft-hub connection.

The KMS02.1B-A018-P-D7-ET-ENH-SD-WT-FW servo motor is suitable for applications in Handling and mounting systems, Packaging, and food machines, printing and paper converting machines, and machine tools. The KMS output is integrated with side switches that actively support currents. The energy absorption ability of the side switches limits voltage peaks caused when initial loads are switched off.  The servo motors electronic system function without wear and tear within the estimated service life and given operating conditions. However, operation under unfavorable conditions (like increased ambient temperature) reduces the service life of the KMS motor.

The KMS servo motors electric connection can be connected with hybrid cables with a circular connector. A metallic flange is fitted to the circular connector. This allows for a pluggable connection at the housing of the control cabinet and machine. Each line of motor connection has to be terminated at the last connection point using a terminal connector. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
