Product Description:

The KDV1.3-100-220/300-220-W1 is a supply module manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the KDV Supply Modules series. Intended for installation in control cabinets, the unit converts three-phase mains power into a regulated DC link and low-voltage auxiliary rails. By doing so, it provides the fundamental power infrastructure required by Indramat DDS or DKC servo drives, CNC controllers, and distributed I/O stations. Within industrial automation cells, this supply module enables coordinated multi-axis motion and rapid energy recovery during deceleration while supporting electrical protection functions.

It accepts a nominal input voltage of 220 VAC and delivers a stabilized link voltage of 300 VDC to each drive inverter attached to the bus. The converter section is rated for a continuous current of 100 A, while dynamic loads can draw up to 300 A for 300 ms; this headroom lets servo motors accelerate or brake suddenly without interrupting the mains supply. With a power capability of 30 kW, the module can supply multiple medium-frame motors. Two auxiliary rails provide ±15 V at 1.5 A and 24 V at 8 A, and the auxiliary supply capacity is 500 VA for encoders, contactors, and control electronics. By combining high-current DC with isolated low-voltage outputs, the module reduces wiring complexity and centralizes protective functions.

Excess kinetic energy is absorbed by an integrated bleeder rated for 2 kW continuous and up to 40 kW peak. Together with 60 kWs of permissible feedback, this helps prevent overvoltage on the 300 V bus during rapid deceleration. Forced-air cooling uses a blower that consumes 15 VA. The electronics add 150 W of cabinet heat, and another 2000 W can be removed externally, so the enclosure must provide adequate airflow. The housing weighs 21 kg, so the mounting panel must support that mass and limit vibration transfer from the fan.
