Product Description:
The KDV 2.2-100-220/300-W1 is a regulated power supply module produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the KDV Supply Modules series. Installed at the front end of an Indramat drive cabinet, it rectifies incoming three-phase mains and provides a stable DC bus for servo drives as well as auxiliary voltages for control electronics. By combining rectification, energy storage, and dynamic braking interfaces in one enclosure, the module streamlines power distribution for machine tools, material-handling lines, and other automated equipment. This arrangement allows multiple connected drives to share a common supply section while keeping control power available for cabinet electronics during normal operation.
For normal operation, the module accepts a three-phase mains input of 220 V AC and delivers a stabilized internal bus of 300 V DC. Its continuous output rating is 30 kW at a rated current of 100 A, while acceleration events can be supported with a peak current of 300 A for 300 ms. Control circuits draw from two fixed auxiliary outputs, including a +15 V rail rated at 2 A and a 24 V service line rated at 12 A. Additional external devices may be fed by the 500 VA auxiliary supply outlet. The stabilized bus supports repeatable drive behavior, while the auxiliary outputs supply logic and peripheral circuits from the same module.
During regenerative braking, surplus energy is dissipated through an internal bleeder that can handle 2 kW continuously and up to 40 kW in short peaks, and the energy store is sized for 100 kWs of feedback. Waste heat arising from switching losses is rated at 150 W inside the enclosure, with an additional 2000 W transferred to the surrounding system through bus bars and cabling. A dedicated cooling assembly draws up to 1000 VA, and its removable fan cartridge weighs 2.5 kg. Overall transport mass is 17 kg, which indicates the mechanical load placed on the cabinet structure during mounting and transport. The internal bleeder and stored-energy capacity help keep bus voltage under control when connected axes decelerate quickly or reverse under load.
