The KDV 1.3-100-200-300-220 supply module is built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the KDV Supply Modules series. It serves as the central power interface for multiple Rexroth drive controllers, converting line voltage to a stabilized DC link and sharing regenerated energy between axes. By providing an integrated bleeder circuit and a 24-volt auxiliary output, the unit supports both motion electronics and control logic in industrial automation cells that demand synchronized, continuous operation. Its compact chassis allows panel integration without external transformers.

The module accepts a nominal input of 220 V AC and can carry a continuous bus current of 100 A while tolerating surges up to 300 A for 300 ms during rapid acceleration or braking. Internally, it establishes a DC link of 300 V DC, enabling a maximum power throughput of 30 kW to the connected inverters. For control circuits, a 500 VA auxiliary winding delivers logic supply, and the 24-volt rail can source 8 A to field devices. Heat produced by the switching elements is limited to 150 W, and an additional 15 VA fan supply is reserved for forced-air cooling inside the cabinet. Proper operation is permitted at installation altitudes up to 1,000 m without derating, so the module can maintain full electrical capacity in most plant environments.

Excess kinetic energy returned from servo axes is dissipated by a bleeder resistor that handles 2 kW continuously and can absorb 40 kW in short bursts, while the storage capacitors can buffer up to 60 kWs of feedback energy before the bleeder engages. Ambient conditions also shape performance; the unit remains within limits up to 55 °C, provided external thermal losses do not exceed 2,000 W and cabinet airflow is maintained. With a shipping mass of 21 kg, the supply module fits standard drive racks and can be mounted in typical control cabinets.
