Product Description:
The Rexroth Indramat KDA 3.3-150-3-APD-W1 is a main spindle drive. It is microcomputer controlled and is configured from a control panel located on the front of the drive. The control panel contains a digital display and a keypad. The parameters programmed for drive operation are stored in the AS module. This module installs on the front of the drive in its designated slot, and can be removed and installed into a replacement drive if required. The AS module also contains the drive firmware. Moreover, a programmed AS module can also be duplicated for drives that will have similar operating parameters. The KDA 3.3-150-3-APD-W1 is designed for speed and positon control of Indramat motors. Its offers a rated output of 150 Amps and a continuous output of 90 Amps. Speed command value available on the drive is ±10 Volts analog.
The KDA 3.3-150-3-APD-W1 also includes an auxiliary encoder input for spindle or second motor feedback and an auxiliary interface for digital 16-bit parallel position command value. The KDA 3.3-150-3-APD-W1 is an air cooled device. A blower is shipped with the drive and during operation it forces air across the heatsink to cool the drive. Input voltage rating of the blower is 220 Volts AC. During installation the manufacturer’s circuit diagrams must be complied with. The circuit diagrams of the machines must be coordinated with Indramat’s circuit diagrams. Rexroth does not recommended removal of the AS module when the drive power is on. During fault conditions the diagnostic codes are displayed on the control panel display. These codes indicate the cause of the problem and can be used by the working technical teams to troubleshoot the issues.
