Product Description:
The Rexroth KDA 3.3-150-3-A0I-U1 is a drive controller which is designed for position and speed control of Indramat motors. During storage, the drive must be stored dry, dust and shock free. Permitted temperature range for drive storage is -30 to 85 degrees Celsius. Rexroth recommends use of a shock-absorbing base if risk of vibrations exists during drive transportation. A mechanical accessories kit and a blower are installed with the drive. The drive mounting panel is contained in the accessories kit. The heatsink blower attaches to the outside of the control enclosure back panel. The AS3 module should be installed on the drive before the drive is mounted inside the control enclosure. Reliable drive operation depends on proper handing during storage and installation. Therefore only trained and qualified personnel should be involved in the drive installation.
Speed command value supported by the KDA 3.3-150-3-A0I-U1 is analog 10 Volts. Auxiliary encoder is not available on the drive. One auxiliary interface for incremental encoder output is available. Rated output of the KDA 3.3-150-3-A0I-U1 is 150 Amps. This output falls if the drive is operated in ambient temperature that exceed 45 degrees Celsius. The maximum derating of 20% occurs at 55 degrees Celsius. Similarly the drive output also falls if the drive is installed at altitudes that exceed 1000 meters. The maximum derating of 35% occurs at 5000 meters altitude. The drive may also get damaged if it is operated outside the recommended operating conditions which are 4 to 45 degrees Celsius temperature and maximum altitude of 1000 meters. Weight of the drive is 17.4 kilograms. The IP 10 rated drive should be installed inside a suitable industrial enclosure.
