The KDA 3.3-100-3-L00-W1 is a drive control system that is designed for controlling the speed and position in the frameless and asynchronous motors produced by the company. The drive controller has high reliability during operation and is able to digitally control the 1MB and 2AD asynchronous motors produced at Rexroth. This model specializes in the control of the main spindle in addition to regular motion control functions. When using this model, it is possible to adjust different motors, adapt different operating modes, and adjust conditions at the machine. This is accomplished by parameterization that is done via an integrated display and input unit. This drive controller is able to adapt the various gear stages due to multi-range parameter blocks that facilitate optimum implementation of machine mechanics.
The KDA 3.3-100-3-L00-W1 is able to function in conjunction with command value interfaces for speed and position, Sercos interface, and a 10 Volts speed command value interface. The Sercos interface enables the transmission of actual values of torque, speed, and position in real time. This improves the system’s capability for rapid tapping, feed control, CNC internal position control, and adaptations. This drive controller also supports diagnostics and parameter handling. This is accomplished via an NC terminal. There is no need for switching for utilizing the full speed range. The drive control excels C-axis operations and spindle positioning tasks. These are accomplished with a resolution of 1/2 000 000th of a revolution. The drive controller is best utilized in areas that have an external temperature between 5 ᵒC and 45 ᵒC.
