The KDA 3.3-050-3-LPS-U1 is a spindle drive module produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the KDA Spindle Drives series. As a dedicated spindle controller, it converts the regulated DC bus supplied by an Indramat power supply into the three-phase output needed to run high-speed machine-tool spindles, allowing coordinated speed regulation in CNC and other automation cells. This third-generation unit integrates command and feedback interfaces so the machine control can adjust rotational velocity in real time while monitoring position and load.
The drive’s power stage operates from a regulated link of 300 VDC and can deliver up to 50 A of continuous output current to the spindle motor.
