KDA 3.2-150-3-DP0-U1 is a spindle drive available without aux interface. It is a part of KDA Spindle drives, known for its high-efficiency and performance in different applications.
The AC spindle drive is suitable for use in different applications and motors. This is through parameters which are stored in EEPROM. This is located right on the AS2 personality module which is plugged right in front of CDM. The AC Spindle is available with the AC motor along with the right motor parameters and the various general application parameters, which are already in the CDM.
There are 2 sets of parameters in CDM. The first is used during power up and the second is taken care of when terminal X22-10 high is involved. The parameters of the second set function to optimize the different gear ratios. Previously, this needed tuning of the system in the worst case. It involved acceptance less than the maximum performance in terms of other ratios.
The AC Spindle Drive has different components. The primary component is the three-phase power transformer. There is a KDV modular power supply, KDA Asynchronous drive module, CDM Computer drive module and AC asynchronous spindle motor. The drive is designed in a way so that it can work well with different AC Servo controllers. There is a common power supply which is shared. A brushless machine can be created at an affordable price.
