The KDA 3.2-150-3-A01-W1 Spindle Drive comes with the capability of providing continuous power in the outstanding range of 3 – 22 kW. It has a current rating of 150 Amp and a RS 232 serial communication protocol that transmits data in series. The drive also has the capability of working together with other command modules, which makes multi-axis applications quite easier. The KDA 3.2-150-3-A01-W1 has a DC bus voltage of 300 V and is force cooled by an external heat sink. The heat sink has a separate AC power source, of 220 V at a frequency range of 50 – 60 Hz, in order to operate the blowers that allow the Modular drive to operate at an ambient temperature of 550C.
With the modular nature of the KDA 3.2-150-3-A01-W1, periodic maintenance and repairs are extremely convenient as the operation of the control system is not at all disturbed.
