The KDA 3.2-100-3-DYD-U1 is a spindle drive produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the KDA Spindle Drives series. It functions as a closed-loop power stage that regulates rotor speed and torque for high-speed machine-tool spindles and similar automated processes. The unit translates numeric controller commands into precise motor currents for stable speed control and coordinated spindle operation. This type of drive is commonly used where spindle acceleration, speed holding, and repeatable response must remain consistent throughout varying load conditions.
The drive is powered from a DC bus of 300 VDC, which serves as the internal energy source for the three-phase output supplied to the spindle motor.
