The Rexroth Indramat KDA 3.2-050-3-DP0-U1 is a spindle drive that is structured to work with digital 16-bit parallel speed setpoints. The drive includes provisions for an additional encoder input that supports spindle feedback or second motor feedback functionality.

The KDA 3.2-050-3-DP0-U1 spindle drive incorporates IP 10 protection according to DIN 40 050 that ensures resistance against objects larger than 50 mm. The thermal design is based on an external heatsink with forced cooling through a blower that uses bottom-to-top airflow. The blower mounts directly on the frame that allows drive replacement without disassembly.
