An incremental encoder output is available for downstream position monitoring, and a second encoder input can be assigned to spindle feedback or to an additional motor feedback loop when tandem axes share the same inverter. This interface arrangement lets the drive pass actual speed data while also supporting a secondary feedback circuit when needed. The added feedback path can be used where coordinated spindle behavior and closed-loop monitoring are required inside the same control system.
