The KDA 3.1-100-3-LP0-W1 is a three-phase main spindle drive built with state-of-the-art technology and able to maintain an operation efficiency level as high as 95 per cent throughout its service life. This spindle drive is built specifically for applications that use 2AD asynchronous and the 1MB main spindle motors as a source of kinetic energy. The cooling method of this product involves the use of an external air blower and heatsink, however for effective temperature regulation, the ambient temperature around this converter should not be allowed to exceed 45 degrees. The KDA 3.1-100-3-LP0-W1 supports both analogue/digital control signals, which provides flexible communication with external accessories. There is a control panel directly mounted on this product; this panel can be used to monitor the operation status in real time, and it also allows operators to determine configuration parameters that guide the operation of this converter.
The KDA 3.1-100-3-LP0-W1 frequency converter is equipped with a built-in bleeder circuit that converts the excess electric current produced during motor deceleration into heat, which can be safely handled.
