KDA 3.1-100-3-AQ0-U1 is an industrial drive. It is designed with features that allow operators to match it to application requirements. KDA drives are purpose-built for use with Bosch Rexroth 1MB and 2AD motors. KDA drive are available in output power ratings ranging from 3 to 22 kilowatts. Features of KDA drives include high stiffness and a wide speed range. These features make KDA drives suitable for applications that use numerically controlled machines for C-axis and spindle positioning control. Drive operations, including diagnostics, monitoring, and control, are performed by an onboard microcomputer. The software for the drive is stored in a programming module. This module is also used to store the drive’s operating parameters. The programming module slot is on the front of the drive unit. This module can be replaced easily and copies of its contents can be made for rapid commissioning of other drive units.
KDA drives can be ordered with an auxiliary encoder input and different speed commands values. KDA 3.1-100-3-AQ0-U1 is a drive without an auxiliary encoder input. It accepts analog ±10 V speed commands. Current ratings for the drive include 70 Amps continuous and 100 Amps rated output. The drive obtains power from a power supply module installed in the enclosure. It supplies power to the motor and monitors and controls its speed.
