KDA 3.1-100-3-APS-W1 is an industrial spindle drive. It is designed by Bosch for control and monitoring of its 1MB and 2AD series of industrial motors. The spindle drive has a modular design: a programming module, an auxiliary interface and an auxiliary encoder input module can be installed on the unit. The slot for the programming module is located on the front side of the unit. The programming module stores drive software and parameters related to drive operations. Operators can insert the module and remove it easily. If a drive malfunctions, the AS 3 programming module can be removed from the faulty drive and inserted into a new drive. No further configuration of the new drive is necessary. In this way, the modular drive design eases troubleshooting and replacement, which ensures higher system availability and minimizes productivity loss due to system downtime.
KDA 3.1-100-3-APS-W1 is a drive with 100 Amps rated output. The DC bus on the unit carries 300 Volts. Continuous current rating of the drive unit is 70 Amps. Three speed command options are available for KDA drives. This drive features a ±10 Volts speed command input.
