KDA 3.1-050-3-LQ0-W1 is a Bosch Rexroth main spindle drive. Its product line is KDA. This is a series of drives designed for control of industrial motors from the 1MB and 2AD series. KDA drives dissipate heat via a heat sink mounted on their rear side. The heat sink mounts outside the control enclosure. As a result, the heat generated by KDA drives is conducted out of the enclosure, which helps to maintain ambient temperature within prescribed limits. Furthermore, a blower is installed on the heat sink to improve airflow and increase the rate of heat dissipation. This feature makes KDA drives particularly suitable to applications where maintaining ambient temperature is critical for reliable operation. Depending on requirements, operators can order with 110 to 220 Volts power supply. The blower installed on the KDA 3.1-050-3-LQ0-W1 drive is rated for 220 Volts.
