The KDA 3.1-050-3-LP0-W1 main spindle drive is a Bosch Rexroth Indramat product that combines new-generation technologies with past experience to produce a motion control device. This drive is an IP20 device that has been widely adopted and used in various industries over the last decade. It is specifically required for the speed and position control of motors belonging to the 1MB frameless spindle series, and the 2AD asynchronous motor design. This unit is a microcomputer-controlled device, the parameters that are used to control its operation are stored in a programming module which can be easily removed and transferred from one drive to another when necessary. There are two main types of configuration parameters in the operating software. The drive specific parameters, which are factory-determined by Indramat and affect the operating characteristic curves of the drive. The user-specific parameters can be adjusted by operators, who are user-specific for the machine the main spindle drive is to be used with.
The KDA 3.1-050-3-LP0-W1 main spindle drive is typically delivered in a cardboard box that can be recycled after the delivery of the product.
