The module serves as the main power converter between a constant DC bus and the three-phase windings of a machine-tool spindle, issuing torque commands while monitoring encoder feedback to keep rotational error low. By integrating speed regulation with internal thermal supervision, the unit supports precision milling, drilling, and grinding tasks that require reliable closed-loop control, repeatable speed holding, and steady torque delivery within a moderate power envelope. The control structure is suited to spindle applications that need stable speed during cutting passes.
