Product Description:

The KDA 2.1-150-3-L0S-U1 is a control module built by Indramat Rexroth for 2AD and 1MB spindle motors. It delivers a maximum current of 150 A for output loads and uses a nominal 300 VDC bus voltage. This drive receives power through a separate KDV supply module and it is equipped with a built-in heatsink blower for thermal management.

The KDA 2.1-150-3-L0S-U1 drive features an RS232C serial interface that is used for diagnostics and parameter setup. It has a fiber-optic SERCOS communication link for fast and stable data exchange. This control module does not support analog or digital parallel inputs and it provides only one motor feedback input without an auxiliary encoder support. It uses resolver as well as incremental encoder for speed and position feedback system. The KDA drive can be mounted vertically in a control cabinet with proper airflow and spacing on all sides. This unit uses microprocessor-based and loop-driven control logic to handle current, velocity and position regulation. The KDA drive operates between 278.15 K to 318.15 K ambient and above 318.15 K, the drive provides derated output. Its permittable storage range is up to 358.15 K and it functions in non-condensing conditions up to 75% RH at an altitude rating of up to 1000 m above sea level.

The KDA 2.1-150-3-L0S-U1 drive meets IP10 protection standard and it is designed for cabinet installation. Its auxiliary RS-232C interface adds easy setup and monitoring capability. This drive provides consistent output under load conditions and its blower unit operates on a 115 V AC supply at 50 to 60 Hz frequency. Its physical dimensional measure is 43.5 cm × 30.0 cm × 6.5 cm. This KDA drive offers high-speed regulation with fine resolution and it enables precise C-axis spindle positioning.
