The KDA 2.1-150-3-AYS-W1 is a spindle drive developed by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the KDA Spindle Drives series. As a spindle drive, it supplies regulated three-phase power to high-speed motor spindles used in milling, drilling, and grinding centers, translating an analog speed command into precise rotor velocity. By integrating power conversion, closed-loop regulation, and thermal management inside one enclosure, the unit streamlines spindle control in automated machining cells. This supports machine tools that need stable spindle speed during cutting, tool changes, and changing load conditions.
