The KDA 2.1-100-3-AQ0-W1 is a controller unit built to be used in production and processing systems that use Bosch Rexroth motors belonging to the 2AD asynchronous and 1MB spindle series. It is a drive controller designed specifically by Bosch Rexroth for these motor units and is guaranteed to provide the accurate control of the speed, position and general operation of these motor units. This controller is an IP20 device that features an enclosure which does not protect it against water or any deliberate penetration. It is designed for assembly into a control enclosure that will provide reliable protection that meets at least the IP20 protection category. There is an air blower designed to operate with the heatsink attached to this controller; the blower generates an air current which passes over the heatsink to the exterior of the control cabinet.
The KDA 2.1-100-3-AQ0-W1 features three main types of electrical connection cables, these include the Feedback and Numerical Control connections, the Power connections and the drive internal connections. The power and feedback cable suitable for this product is ready-made by the manufacturer, although it is not included in the standard delivery package; customers can separately order it. The parameter instructions for this drive controller can be communicated through the control panel integrated into its housing. This panel features about four pressure-sensitive keys and a single-line display unit. There are also two LEDs that signal the operation status of the drive in real time.
