The KDA 2.1-100-3-A0I-W1 Main Spindle Drive is an intelligent control unit for asynchronous and frameless motors by Indramat. The drive has a rated current of 150 Amp and has a bus voltage of 300 V. The KDA 2.1-100-3-A0I-W1 also comes with a powerful microcomputer that maintains the operational integrity of the drive at very high speeds. With an extremely wide range of speed, the drive has the capability of being used for a large variety of applications. Another added feature of the KDA 2.1 Modular Spindle Drive is its ability to work in combination with additional drive controllers, which makes multi-axis operations easier.
The KDA 2.1-100-3-A0I-W1 boasts an unparalleled positioning and speed control mechanism which allows it to be used in CNC applications and spindle positioning. This variant of the spindle drive does not have an Aux encoder input and an Aux interface. In order to keep the temperature in check, the device has an integrated heat sink blower that runs on an AC supply of 115 V at the frequency of 50 – 60 Hz.
