The power section is rated for a continuous output of 50 A, allowing the connected spindle motor to draw significant current during heavy machining passes. Position loops inside the CNC generate the speed reference, and the drive receives this command in a 16-bit digital parallel format for fine resolution across the full speed range. The drive uses forced cooling, so space must be left for the exhaust path and for unobstructed cabinet airflow. The blower motor is powered by an auxiliary supply of 115 V 50/60 Hz, keeping the fan circuit separate from the DC bus.
