The Bosch HZF02.1-W010N is a combining filter. It is used to suppress current leakages from the parasitic capacitances of the system construction such as winding capacities and motor cable and to ensure sufficient interference suppressions. The combining filters are used with HVR power supply modules. Only the power supply can be connected to the filter output. Additional devices will be required for noise suppression on other equipment installed inside the cabinet. Nominal power rating of the HZF02.1-W010N is 10 kilowatts. The basis loss of the filter is 100 Watts, and the load dependent loss is 10 Watts per kilowatts. Total power loss at maximum continuous power of the connected supply unit is 200 Watts. Continuous nominal current rating is 18 Amps. The operating frequency range is from 50 to 60 Hertz. Shipping weight of the filter is 18 kilograms.
The HZF02.1-W010N is a convection cooled filter. Permitted ambient temperature range for operation is 5 to 45 degrees Celsius and the permitted ambient temperature range for storage is from -30 to 85 degrees Celsius. The peak permitted ambient temperature threshold with derated values is 55 degrees Celsius. Installation of the HZF02.1-W010N is recommended by Bosch at elevations of up to 1000 meters. Beyond this threshold the output of the filter derates. Installation at elevations exceeding 4000 meters is not recommended. The maximum permissible relative and absolute humidity thresholds are 95% and 25 g / m3 respectively. The filer is housed in an enclosure which has IP 20 rating as per EN 60529 / IEC 529. Condensation and accumulation of dirt is not allowed on the filter during operation or during storage. Installation and maintenance of the filter is only allowed to be performed by trained personnel.
