The Bosch Rexroth HVE02.2-W018N/S201 is a HVE series second generation power supply unit. It is designed for use in DIAX04 systems for providing power to more than one drive module. The power unit is an air-cooled device with internal blower. The permissible ambient temperature with rated data is from 5 to 45 degrees Celsius. The maximum permissible ambient temperature with derated data is 55 degrees Celsius.

Storage and transport temperature range for the HVE02.2-W018N/S201 is from -30 to 85 degrees Celsius. The power supply delivers output as per manufacturer specifications at elevations of up to 1000 meters. The supply can be installed at elevations exceeding 1000 meters but with power reduction. Installation of the HVE02.2-W018N/S201 above 4000 meters elevation is not recommended by Bosch. The relative humidity should not exceed 95% under any conditions. Housing of the power supply is rated for IP 20 protection as per EN 60529 / IEC 529. The power supply contains electrolytic capacitors. Therefore, when stored for long period of time Bosch recommends operating the supply for 1 hour at least once a year.
