The HNL01.2E-0240-N0106-A-500-NNNN mains choke is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the HNL Mains Chokes series. The component is installed on the three-phase line side of servo drives and converters so its inductance can damp line transients, reduce harmonic distortion, and protect the upstream supply network. By limiting inrush current and smoothing the voltage waveform, the choke supports longer capacitor life in connected drives. That reduction in line stress helps rectifier sections draw current more evenly from the supply. In converter-based motion systems, cleaner input current can also reduce nuisance trips caused by sharp voltage disturbances.
