Product Description:
The HNL01.1R-0590-C0065-A-480-NNN1 is a three-phase mains choke produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for use in industrial drive systems. In an automation cabinet, it is wired ahead of an inverter to limit current ripple and attenuate high-frequency disturbances on the line side, especially during rapid load changes or regenerative deceleration. By adding inductance, the unit helps protect both the drive and the plant's upstream supply components from harmonics that arise during regenerative power exchange. It also helps reduce abrupt current changes seen by the incoming supply when multiple axes operate on the same installation.
This choke accepts a line voltage of 3 × AC 400–480 V −15/+10% and operates at 50/60 Hz. The voltage window fits many European and North American low-voltage grids, and the frequency range allows direct connection without a transformer. Its internal circuit is equipped with capacitors, so differential and common-mode noise is filtered before it reaches the drive. Circuit components are housed in an enclosure rated IP10, which guards against accidental finger contact while leaving convection cooling unobstructed. The choke supports a regenerative supply system, so it can smooth bidirectional energy flow when the downstream drive returns braking energy to the mains.
The product is design version 1 and belongs to hardware release 01. These identifiers help match the inductance value and loss characteristics to compatible converters from the same release group. In regenerative operation, the capacitive branch stores charge long enough for the core to handle sudden current reversals, which helps the supply maintain voltage stability under fluctuating loads. Shared-bus layouts can create fast current changes at the mains interface, so the added inductance helps reduce abrupt line stress during axis deceleration and reversal. The unit is part of the HNL Mains Chokes line, and the mounting points, thermal clearances, and wiring terminals follow the layout used across the range.
