Product Description:
The HNL01.1R-0260-N0450-A-480-NNNF is a line-side mains choke produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for use within the HNL Mains Chokes series. Installed between the plant power bus and the inverter, the unit adds inductance that reduces harmonic distortion, limits inrush currents, and protects downstream drive electronics in regenerative power trains. By smoothing the current drawn from the utility supply, the choke helps maintain stable voltage profiles and minimizes electromagnetic interference inside automated machinery cells.
Designed for international installations, the choke accepts a three-phase input of 3 x AC 400–480 V. The allowable voltage fluctuation of -15/+10% enables operation on grids with moderate deviation from nominal value, while the rated network frequency of 50/60 Hz covers both common power standards. Its enclosure carries a IP10 degree of protection, signifying that fingers are protected from live parts but the device must be mounted within a control cabinet for environmental shielding. When paired with regenerative frequency converters, the inductance limits current ripple, thereby protecting the converter’s rectifier stage during both motoring and energy-return modes.
Mechanical identification follows Design Version 1 and internal Series code 01, so dimension and terminal layouts remain consistent across compatible HNL hardware. No configuration add-ons are supplied; the “Additional Options” field is therefore marked None. For applications with high thermal load, an alternative build featuring liquid cooling is cataloged, but the standard air-cooled model suffices for most cabinets tied to a regenerative power bus. Collectively, these attributes simplify selection and integration of the choke within drive systems that must absorb and return energy without exceeding line-side current distortion limits.
