Product Description:
The HNL01.1E-1000-N0012-A-500-NPNN is a three-phase mains choke used on the supply side of servo inverters or variable-speed drives. It attenuates grid-side current peaks, limits voltage transients, and reduces the total harmonic distortion returned to the plant network. By increasing source impedance, the unit helps protect rectifier diodes and can reduce motor noise associated with commutation notches. Installed at the mains input, it helps the upstream supply see smoother current draw during normal drive operation. It is intended for automated systems that need stable incoming power conditions and lower interference on the line side.
The choke is rated for a mains connection of 3 x AC 380 ... 500 V with a tolerance of -15% to +10%, which gives it flexibility across common low-voltage supply systems. Support for 50/60 Hz operation allows the same unit to be used on either standard utility frequency without any frequency-specific adjustment. A protection rating of IP10 provides basic finger-safe guarding, so the choke should be installed inside an enclosed panel where dust and liquid exposure are controlled. The product is design version 1 and is classified as feeding equipment, which places it ahead of the converter bridge in the power chain. This arrangement makes it part of the line-side conditioning path rather than the motor-output section.
The unit carries series code 01, which corresponds to the first generation of this product line. It is supplied with no additional options, so no temperature sensor, varnish upgrade, or mounting kit is included. The laminated core produces reactive impedance that helps equalize phase currents, stabilize the intermediate DC bus, and reduce line-notch propagation toward sensitive PLC inputs. Its mechanical layout suits DIN rail or base-plate mounting used in enclosed drive cabinets. That mounting flexibility can simplify placement where available panel space is limited or where existing enclosure layouts must be preserved.
