Product Description:
The HNL01.1E-0900-N0051-A-480-NNNN is a three-phase mains choke manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the HNL Mains Chokes series. Installed upstream of variable-frequency drives or supply modules, the component adds inductance that attenuates line-side current ripple, decreases harmonics, and mitigates voltage transients. By moderating inrush conditions and smoothing the current waveform, the choke supports longer service life for DC link capacitors and helps power converters meet network electromagnetic compatibility limits in automated production lines.
The choke is rated for input networks from 3 x AC 400–480 V -15/+10%, 50/60 Hz, so it can be wired directly to standard low-voltage industrial feeders without tap changers. At its nominal load, the copper windings carry 51 A, which is the maximum continuous current the reactor can handle before thermal limits are reached. A housing classification of IP10 indicates that the core and terminals are guarded against accidental contact with fingers, but the device must be mounted inside an enclosed panel for dusty or wet environments. The unit uses a Feeding supply-system arrangement, which indicates that the inductor is intended for the line side rather than the motor side of a drive system. The unit uses design version 1, so its mounting and dimensional layout follow the first build standard of the series.
The unit is built without plug-in reactors, temperature switches, or alternate winding materials. It belongs to series 01 of the product family. Within the HNL Mains Choke line, this standard configuration provides fixed inductance for line-side filtering in multi-drive cabinets. That arrangement keeps the electrical function consistent when the unit is installed alongside chokes of different current classes in the same enclosure.
