The HLT05.1W-045K-N-D7-NNNN model is generally used to develop a cost-effective and sustainable drive system by maintaining the dc bus voltage of the system. The HLT05.1 brake chopper takes DC 750 V power directly from the drive controller. During deceleration mode, when the dc bus voltage exceeds the required level the brake chopper dissipates the generated energy to the surrounding air. Energy dissipation helps in maintaining the dc bus voltage level of the system. The HLT05.1 brake chopper comes with an air cooling option and it uses surrounding air for maintaining the temperature of the unit. The model dissipates 45 kW of power during continuous operation and the unit faces a power loss of 250 W. The maximum energy dissipated by the unit is approximately 85 kW with a cycle time of 60 seconds. The model comes with an easy mounting option and the net weight of the brake chopper is 7.5 kg. Only highly qualified professionals are allowed to handle the device. The model is supplied along with a one-year replacement warranty.
