The HLT01.1A-300K-N-010-NNNN is a braking unit produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the HLT Braking Units series. In regenerative drive systems, this module converts surplus kinetic energy into heat so the DC bus voltage stays within safe limits. It mounts inside control cabinets that already contain Indramat power sections, giving the installation a protective element against overvoltage during fast deceleration or vertical load lowering.
The unit is approved for installation up to 1000 m above sea level; beyond that height, its continuous power capacity decreases by 1% per 100 m. Dust-tight sealing is not required, so the base side is rated IP00, while operator-side access maintains IP31 to block tools larger than 2.5 mm and dripping water. Top ventilation slots meet IP20, so fingers cannot reach live parts while airflow remains unrestricted for heat dissipation. Protective earth and control circuits are separated by PELV galvanic isolation, and the product follows Protection Class 1 requirements that route fault current directly to cabinet ground.
