It mounts inside control cabinets that already contain Indramat power sections, giving the installation a protective element against overvoltage during fast deceleration or vertical load lowering.
The unit is approved for installation up to 1000 m above sea level; beyond that height, its continuous power capacity decreases by 1% per 100 m. Dust-tight sealing is not required, so the base side is rated IP00, while operator-side access maintains IP31 to block tools larger than 2.5 mm and dripping water.
