The HLR01.1N-11K0-N07R3-A-007-NNNN model operates at the DC bus voltage of 700V and takes connection from the converter through a 3 AWG gauge copper wire with PVC-insulation and conductor temperature of 90 ͦC. The brake resistor is used to convert the generated kinetic energy into thermal energy by dissipating the continuous power of 11 kW and peak power of 82 kW within the 120 seconds minimum allowed time cycle. The brake resistor can use the regenerated power of 1056 kWs for the maximum allowed time of 13 seconds. The brake resistor can provide the 8.2 Ohm of brake resistance to dissipate more heat. The model comes in a free mounting style having dimensions of width 600 mm, height 270 mm, and depth 490 mm. The net weight of the resistor is 22 kg.

The model HLR01.1N-11K0-N07R3-A-007-NNNN uses ambient air for cooling purposes by dissipating heat to the surrounding air.
